The Kalida High School Wildcat Marching Band is happy to perform for their hometown during Pioneer Days. We welcome you to join us at 1:00 pm for a performance of our fall marching band show. This year’s competition show is titled “Tragic Lovers” and features music from Carmen, Phantom of the Opera, and West Side Story. The band is under the direction of Mrs. Lori Klausing with assistant director Mrs. Mary Glick and color guard advisors Mrs. Wendy Stechschulte and Ms. Emily Selhorst. The current band of 68 members is led by field commander Emily Turnwald. They will perform in marching band competitions throughout the state this fall, hoping to qualify for Ohio State Marching Band Finals. They have received superior ratings at State for the past three years. The Kalida Wildcat Marching Band also went to Walt Disney World last fall and performed in the afternoon parade at the Magic Kingdom. Thanks to the Kalida Music Boosters and community for your support! |
